Brie Larson says Captain Marvel fans don’t want her to play the role again.

Since 2019, Brie Larson has been Captain Marvel in the MCU. She knows that fans don’t like her very much. Even though it made more than $1 billion at the box office, most fans didn’t want her first movie in the MCU.

At the most recent D23 event, where Disney showed off its upcoming projects, the actress was there. Larson and other cast members talked about The Marvels, the sequel to Captain Marvel (2019). That is directly linked to the Disney + Miss Marvel series and Wandavision.

Brie Larson said, “I don’t know,” when asked how long she planned to keep playing Captain Marvel. She also asked, “Does anyone want me to do it again?

Even though the actress was funny, it is impossible to ignore the controversy surrounding her since 2019 (more specifically, since Captain Marvel came out). And how she has been under a lot of scrutinies since then.

While we wait for The Marvels, we can catch up with Larson right away in her Disney+ project Growing up, which shows how kids deal with their unusual lives.

She also made fun of the troll army by posting a picture on Twitter:
